Lotus Root contains Rhizomes and are consumed as vegetable in many Asian countries. It is fried or cooked in Soups, soaked in syrup, pickled in Vinegar, deep-fried, stir-fried or stuffed with meats or preserved fruits, or added to Salads with Prawns as well.
